Our Story
Why We Put DNA in Our Name
Most clinics hand every patient the same plan and hope. We started from the opposite end: your body has reasons, and your DNA can tell us what they are — how you process food, how you respond to medication, what your metabolism rewards. Pair that with today's GLP-1 medicine and supervision that actually supervises, and weight loss stops being a guessing game.
We're owner-operated and we like it that way. When you call, you reach a person who knows your name, not a queue. When your plan needs to change, the people who built it are in the room.
The People
Your Medical Team
Every plan at our clinic is built and supervised by licensed medical professionals — a Medical Director and a Nurse Practitioner who see you as a patient, not a transaction.
Medical Director
Dr. Carol L. Neuman is an award-winning, board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist. Graduating summa cum laude from Illinois Wesleyan University, she received her medical degree from the prestigious Emory University School of Medicine and completed her residency in Jacksonville at what is now the University of Florida.
Recognizing that the women of Jacksonville had very few female OB/GYNs, she accepted a local position in private practice to help remedy the situation. Her patient care earned the patient-voted Press Ganey award, given by Memorial Hospital Jacksonville for exceptional patient service.
A principal investigator for the Jacksonville Center for Clinical Research, Dr. Neuman has written several articles published in medical journals — her paper on vulvar and vaginal hematomas stands as the definitive research on that topic. As our Medical Director, she continues to move patient care forward with new concepts and treatments.
Nurse Practitioner
Lolanda McBride, APRN is a nursing professional with more than 30 years of experience across dermatology, emergency and critical care, and general family practice. Patients know her for her adaptability, gentle bedside manner, and commitment to high-quality care.
Her clinical focus includes general and surgical dermatology, wellness care, GLP-1 medical weight loss strategy, and hormone replacement therapy. Her daily goal is to help patients achieve and maintain healthy skin and overall well-being.
Lolanda is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Dermatology Nurses' Association. She also volunteers with Alpha Kappa Alpha Inc., reflecting her commitment to community service.
